It’s time for my annual walk through autumn in my hometown, Monterey, TN. Read along to
find out the reasons I love the season in this beautiful city and why I think you should see it
for yourself in 2024!

Coffee at The Lovely Brew.

Delicious food and desserts at Los Agaves and BenAnna’s.

Candles, decor, and stationary at The French Market.

Kayaking, mountain biking, and more fun at The Outpost at Meadow Creek Park.

Leaves changing into a sea of red, orange, and gold at Bee Rock.

Laugher, folklore, truth, and fiction blurring as stories flow at Earl’s Service station, Reed’s Exxon, and The Convenience Mart.

Lights turned on, crowds turned up, and memories made as the Wildcats take the field each Friday night.

Cornucopias, scarecrows, and hay bales adorning the sidewalk.

Nostalgia on display at every corner.

Smiling faces, and the warmth of a genuine community.

Fall in Monterey, TN.

I spent my childhood longing for the first cool days in this perfect little city.

Now, as an adult, I make the drive home over and over each autumn in anticipation of reconnecting with the magic that is Monterey this time of year.

I encourage you to come visit and see the beauty of fall in Monterey for yourself.

You’ll be glad you did.
