Looking for some local Christmas fun this year? Read on to learn more about the
exciting festive parade happening in downtown Monterey!
Mark your calendars for the Monterey Christmas Parade this coming Saturday, December 3rd at 6:30 p.m.!
The night is PACKED with yuletide fun for the ENTIRE family and you don’t want to miss it!
To get the festivities under way, Monterey’s own Hilltop Chorale will be providing a free concert at the Monterey Depot Museum before the procession begins.
Once the concert is finished, the parade will leave Monterey High School and follow a route through downtown Monterey that ends on Stratton Ave.
This year’s parade lineup will feature a wide variety of floats (with cash prizes or plaques for the winners of each category), live animals, and even a ride through from Ole’ Saint Nick himself!
And, the party won’t stop when the parade is finished, as once the procession comes to an end, Santa Claus will make his way to Monterey’s Depot Museum where he will be waiting for visitors (that includes YOU)!
Grab the kids, pack a hot chocolate, and make your way to Monterey Saturday night!
